Your documents never leave your device

clean.ink, operated by LoudFoam LLC, performs all PDF rendering, PII detection, redaction, and export entirely in your browser. The files you open are not uploaded to any server, are not stored by us, and are not transmitted to any third party. When you close the tab, the document is gone from memory.

What we do process

• Payments. Purchases are handled by Stripe, our Merchant of Record (through its Managed Payments service). Stripe processes your payment details and billing information under its own privacy policy; we receive only a payment confirmation used to issue your license key. We never see your card details.
• Analytics. We use PostHog in cookieless mode to measure anonymous, aggregate product usage (e.g. how many people complete a redaction). No identifying cookies are set and no document contents are ever included in analytics events.
• Your license key. Your lifetime license is stored locally in your browser so the app stays unlocked. It is a signed token tied to your purchase, not to your identity.
• Product updates (opt-in only). If you tick the consent checkbox during checkout, we store the email address you gave Stripe with our newsletter provider, Loops, to send occasional product updates. If you don’t tick it, your email is never shared with us or Loops. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list.
